How We're Ensuring your Safety Post-Lockdown

Hey gorgeous!

We're doing everything to ensure that when we're able to safely resume all beauty appointments (we hope it's soon!). Our clients have been amazing in patiently awaiting our return and we can't wait to see so many of you and also so many new faces!

Currently, we're only taking appointments for hair, so if you've been dying for a cut, colour or just a revamp, we're here to tell you to download the app and get booking!

We, and our beauticians have been working closely together to ensure that safety measure are of the highest standard. After all, we're entering your home and this could expose a number of concerns. So let's ease your mind and tell you how we're planning to slowly introduce our services following government guidelines and working our way towards a safe and secure environment.

Learning more about hygiene, anti-viral prevention & control

All beauty professionals should have training in PPE, hygiene, and close-contact risks.

If you've been paying close attention, you'll know that a lot of beauticians are now taking a free online course called 'BARBICIDE'. It was designed for beauty professionals to keep well informed about up-to-date procedures following the recent outbreak of COVID-19. The course allows beauty professionals to understand the importance of following guidelines and preventing infection spread.

Complying with government guidelines

The government guidelines on beauty are simple. Close contact services are to remain closed until further notice, and we're getting updates pretty frequently so hopefully soon we'll be able to announce that all of our services can resume.

'Close contact services include hairdressing, barbershops, beauty and nail bars, makeup, tattoo and spray tanning studios, spas, sports and massage therapy'. Of course, this includes mobile beauty treatments too. Barbershops and hairdressers have been allowed to reopen since the 4th of July, so we've also began introducing our hair services and have also added some new hair services so we can ensure that you're getting the best of the best with us! Book via our free app for Android and iPhone.

Evaluation

Before entering our client's home, we always analyse our surrounds. Do they have children? Do they live with an elderly person? Someone high risk? Is the client high risk themselves?

If any of the answers are yes. We make sure that we've made contact with the client to ensure any requests are made. Do you want the beautician to come in without shoes? Or feel more comfortable watching them clean their tools? These gestures can be easily implemented as our beauticians want your comfort to be their top priority as well as making sure that when they leave your home you feel beautiful.

It's normal to feel overwhelmed or anxious about all the different news and media you see surrounding COVID. But rest assured that we've always emphasised the importance of hygiene with clients.
