Fascinators: The survivor guide

June 8, 2018

Have you ever wore a fascinator? Are you going to wear one this summer season?  Now that we will have to wait until George's wedding to have a full glam style again, let's hold on to the event that keeps us stylish every year! Royal Ascot is just around the corner and your fascinator survivor guide is here!

A few curiosities about hats & fascinators:

Tradition: "When accessorising a hatband or any other embellishment, keep in mind that traditionally ladies decorate hats on the right hand side, the opposite to that of men who always stick to the left".

Time matters: "As a rule of thumb, the size of the hat should decrease as the day progresses. Large brims in the morning or evening are considered vulgar and extravagant as there’s no need for them when the sun isn’t out."

Hair colour: Always consider your hair colour when buying a fascinator. Make sure the headband matches perfectly to it in order to deceive any showing bits. Click on the photo below and check our very hot tips!
