The Glamoriser: RRP £89.99 to £99
As an avid GHD user especially for doing curls I was quite in disbelief that I would ever find something as good. This straightener really heats up to 230C (be careful as it might damage your hair) and comes with a temperature guidance. I loved using it on @mybeautysquad clients but never without a good quality heat protector. If you have curly to very curly hair this is definitely a good buy.
The only small comment I would make is that the heating plaques don't slide smoothly sometimes if the hair is coarse and the outside heats up a lot so do use gloves if you are trying to create curls.
GHD Platinum: RRP £145 to £165
I've been using this for a while and I have to say if you didn't notice yet: this is priceeeeeeey! BUT, it's a really good hair straightener, it creates amazing curls and it doesn't damage the hair as much as others brands. That's because the temperature is not as high so if you have curly hair stay away from it. I've tried this on our model Luciana and it didn't work so I doubt it will work on any hair curlier than hers. Besides that do the investment if you have thin to medium hair and wish to style it while avoiding too much breakage.
